charleston's biggest party is back!

Join the Charleston Parks Conservancy as we celebrate the 7th annual Party for the Parks! Pack your passport and be transported to Cuba’s most famous seaside avenue, the Malecón. The Conservancy will recreate this promenade along Colonial Lake with Cuban-inspired music, food, art, street performers and an energy that will have party-goers dancing in the street!

*General Admission includes open bar, food, and entertainment. CLUB TROPICANA ticket includes access to private lounge with bar, signature cocktails, hors d'oeuvres by MAGNOLIAs desserts by charleston chocolatiers and entertainment.

What to wear?

  • Party for the Parks is Haute, Haute, Haute! Dress to impress in your best Cuban attire! Bring your fedoras, cigar shirts, salsa shoes, head scarves, and ruffles. 

  • Keep in mind that Party for the Parks is an outdoor event. Saturday’sevening weather calls for clear skies and low 60s ℉.

What to bring?

  • Don’t forget to bring your tickets! Either print them out prior to the event OR have them displayed on your phone as you walk in.

When you arrive:

Driving?

  • We strongly encourage carpooling or using alternative modes of transportation: bicycle, taxi or car services such as Uber or Lyft.

  • If you do drive, please refer to map below for nearby parking lots.

  • Those riding with the Charleston Bike Share Holy Spokes are welcome to leave their bikes on the Rutledge Ave side of Colonial Lake and you will not be charged an out of hub fee. 

Where to go?

  • There is only one entrance to the party! Enter the party from the corner of Broad St. and Ashley Ave.

  • As you enter, be ready for volunteers to scan your paper or mobile ticket.
